Take A Stand!
Welcome
Hi there! I hope everyone is well during these trying times. I know for me personally, it’s been an emotional rollercoaster for the past week just watching things unfold. I’ve seen many Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram post as well as videos on TV and Youtube (good and bad) and I have to tell you…things are looking intense, but I’m seeing more support than I’ve ever seen in my life. So I want to help more people educate themselves and take a stand for what’s right in this country. I’m going to try and find as many resources as I can. I decided to use my blog page for this because it allows people to comment. I can’t do this alone, so If I miss anything that you feel is important for people to know, see, or be a part of, please add it below and I will continue to update. I will be putting this link in my bio on all my social media platforms, I encourage you to do the same. I will be pulling from other AMAZING posts I’ve seen and information from people I know in the communities.
***Also, if anything is incorrect, please let me know as well.***
Mental Health
I want to start with this amazing organization that I discovered. As someone with mental health disorders, these times have been hard for my brain to process and I know I’m not alone. This organization offers FREE virtual therapy for those who need it. As the site so beautifully states, “No one should suffer in silence. We’re in this together”. The other two are good resources as well. Please get the help you need. Don’t wait until it gets worse. Talk to someone today.
And those of you wanting to help and be apart of the fight on mental health, there’s information on that site for you too.

VOTE! VOTE! VOTE!
And lastly, let’s not forget to educate ourselves and stay updated with the upcoming election. Let’s exercise our right to vote together because that’s where the big changes happen. If you have a friend who is not registered, help them get registered. And don’t just stop there, educate yourselves together. Here are some resources on voting.
Educate Yourself
If you are someone who is not directly affected by what’s going on, needs help to understand why things are happening, wants to become a better ally, or needs help educating someone who just doesn’t get it, here are some resources for you. Please feel free to share them with those who are having trouble taking a stand against racism. I pray for these resources to help.
